After unfulfilling roles in other companies, Julie was looking for a genuine challenge in her chosen field of marketing. The prospect of working on such a diverse range of products at MBI caught her attention, and she was quickly put in charge of her very own portfolio of products – “I was amazed at how much responsibility you are given at such an early stage!”
After two years, Julie’s desire to combine business management and creative flair led to her transfer from Product Management to Product Development, where today, she is responsible for creating some of the major “hits” that power MBI UK’s growth.
Ensuring Julie’s talents are utilised to the fullest, she combines her product development role with management of the company’s teddy bear business. “Every day is different. Whether it’s briefing designers, editing and approving advertising copy or crafting marketing campaigns and promotional strategy. Organisation is key and I simply love crossing things off my list!”
When not focusing on sales targets, archery targets keep Julie occupied at the weekend, as she picks up her bow and shoots a few dozen arrows down at the local archery field.
