What is product management?

​

Product management at MBI is best summed up as “running your own business within our business”. Our managers take responsibility for their categories of products and work on an end-to-end strategy to grow sales and profits within these. Our managers also take responsibility for improving all areas of the company by choosing projects that aim to improve efficiencies, generate new business opportunities, and solve problems in areas such as operations, advertising and marketing.

What is MBI?

Known to the public as Danbury Mint, MBI sells jewellery, coins and heirloom collectables directly to customers. We are a mail order company and don’t have any stores, instead selling through mailings, print media and digital channels. Do I need any experience?

​

We’re not looking for previous marketing experience or a degree in a particular subject. Instead we’re looking for intelligent students with drive to move the business forwards. You’ll learn the rest on the job! Take a look at this site to learn more about some of our managers.

When would I start?

We’re looking for students to work for us for two to three months over the summer in 2023, but we can be flexible around your dates.
